Raymond Philippi

Raymond A. Philippi, Fort Ripley, MN, died at Edgewood Vista Memory Care Center in Brainerd, MN, on March 31, 2015, at the age of 91. He was a WW II veteran and for over 50 years Raymond was known for his music performances in country western and bluegrass bands throughout MN.

He was preceded in death by his wife Beatrice (Rohloff); his parents, Frank Albert Philippi and Alvina Margareth (Beumel); brother, Harold; and sister, Adele (Bock, Houle).
He is survived by brothers, Arnold of Chahalis, WA, and Leslie of Guthrie, MN; sisters, Delores Mackey of Newbury Park, CA, and Marlene Norman of Muldow, OK; children, Raymond of Monroe, WA, Andrew of Brainerd, MN, and Patricia Gilman of Albuquerque, NM; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
