Raymond Bradow

Raymond Bradow, age 90, of Pine River, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, September 3, 2010, surrounded by his family. He was born December 26, 1919, in Fergus Falls, to Alfred and Amelia Bradow.

Ray loved gardening, playing cards and hunting. His faith in his Lord and Savior was evident throughout his life.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Myrtle; children: Freda "Kim" Miller (Bob Pearson), Pat Bradow, Carl Bradow (Carol); foster children: Fred Wind, Brian Wind; grandchildren: Lisa Davis (Joe), Jill Gapinski (Dwayne), Brad Staples (Tawna), Chris Staples (Traci), Katie Bitzer (Adam), Melissa Bradow, Cory Bradow; and nine great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ernie and Harold; sisters, Dorothy Larson, and Eleanor Knott.

Services will be 11 AM on Wednesday, September 8, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Backus, with Pastor Ronald Carnicom officiating. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Pine River. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 7 PM at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River, and one hour prior to the service at the church.
