Randy Vasecka

Randy Vasecka, 66, of Motley, MN passed away Saturday, September 30, 2017 at her home. Services for Randy will be 3:00PM, Friday, October 6, 2017 at Motley Free Methodist Church in Motley, MN with Pastor Wayne Erickson officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7PM, Thursday, October 5, at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples and one hour prior to services at the church.

Randy was born September 26, 1951 in Savanna, IL to Raymond and Ruby (Munsterman) Taubert. She was united in marriage to Glen Vasecka January 6, 1976 in Anoka, MN. Randy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She showed that everyday. Randy’s love of the Lord and family was obvious to everyone who knew her. She loved her flowerbeds where she would spend hours pruning and weeding; it was her heaven on earth! She would come in the house afterwards, dirt from her toes to her nose. Randy also loved to can tomatoes, especially salsa. She also canned jellies, jams, apple butter and some great barbeque sauce. Randy will be greatly missed and always loved by her family and friends!

Randy is survived by her husband, Glen of Motley, MN; children, Melanie (Chad) White and their children, Devon, Dylan, Carter, and Jude of New London, MN, Tasha (Brian) Olds and their children, Chelsea and Reed of Staples, MN, Elizabeth (James) Williams and their children, Dexter, Sam, and Rollie of St. Paul, MN, Tami (Greg) Zupon and their children, Jordan, and Sydney of Coon Rapids, MN, Jade and Wyatt Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Ruby; and brother, Rollie. Services have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples, MN.
