Ralph Thiede

Ralph Thiede, age 76, of Breezy Point, passed away Friday, May 4, 2012, at his home. He was born in Motley, Minnesota, to Louis and Louise Thiede on April 19, 1936. Ralph married Mary Bacus on August 9, 1980, in Zephyr Cove, Nevada. His 33-year career was spent driving truck across seven western states. After retiring in 1991, he loved spending his time fishing and woodworking.

Ralph is survived by his wife, Mary; son, Scott (Lily); daughters: Michele Rose (Steve), Melinda Ruzich; grandchildren: Kayla Ruzich, Ryan Rose, Jared Ruzich; sister, Agnes Haack (Dale); brother, Paul (Dee); and brother-in-law, Arnold Wodarz (Evelyn).

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John and Len; sisters: Louise Spreiter, Alice Wodarz and Mary Novak.

Services will be 11 AM on Wednesday, May 9, at Saint Alice Catholic Church, Pequot Lakes. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Minnesota State Veteran's Cemetery, Camp Ripley.
