Rachelle "Shelly" Schug

Rachelle Ann Schug, born April 22, 1962, passed away on June 13, 2024, in Pequot Lakes.

Shelly graduated from Backus High School and later married Melvin Schug, who passed away in 1994.

Shelly worked for Scamp Trailers for many years. She enjoyed gardening, picking agates, hunting for morels and anything really outdoors! She loved the color blue and had an extensive collection of blue glass items.

Shelly is survived by her son, Kelly Huesmann; brother, Terry Huesmann; sisters, Kookie (Lenny) Sanvig, and Roxie (Tom) Huesmann; nieces and nephews, Kerri, Krista, Rusty, (Nellie), Tommy, Susie (Jess), Larry, Cody (Amanda), George, Shane (Tiffiny), Lissa, Brad, Hope, Steven, Michael (Darla), Matthew, Scott (Erica); And lots of Great nephew, nieces and friends.

Shelly was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Beatrice (Darveaux) Huesmann; husband, Melvin Schug; brothers George and Michael Huesmann; sister-in-law, Denise Huesmann; and nephew, Mark Huesmann.

A burial will take place at 12 PM on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at Ponto Cemetery in Backus, MN. A celebration of life will follow from 1-4PM at 3171 Pine Tree Street, Jenkins, MN.
