Rachel Ann Bourassa, age 40, of Brainerd died during the early morning hours of September 11, 2020 at the St. Cloud Hospital; the result of illness and addiction, which never took away her upbeat and outgoing personality. A memorial service will be held at 1PM on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Wednesday. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens and lunch to follow at the Eagles Club (124 Front Street, Brainerd).
Rachel was born November 12, 1979 in Brainerd. She led a gypsy lifestyle and had a unique personality. Rachel was outgoing and strong willed, however, her struggles with addiction were a constant battle throughout her short life. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Rachel is survived by her husband, Luke Knudson; parents, Renae (John) Vogt, Bruce (Beverly) Bourassa; daughter, Alexia Magnan; grandson, Arthur Beber; siblings, Melissa (Tim) Eid, Stefani Bourassa, Michael (Kayla) Vogt, Brandon (Jessica) Vogt, Amber (Wade) Wink, Heather (Ron) Fry, Carissa Killoran; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Breanna Cantu; maternal and paternal grandparents
