Phyllis Moe

Phyllis Moe, age 71, of Pequot Lakes, MN, a beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Aunt, died September 21, 2004 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Phyllis Maxine Krueger was born in a log cabin, on June 5, 1933 in Connersville, WI, daughter of Albert and Edna (Robbins) Krueger. She lived there for 5 years attending grade school at Bolin and Camp 9 Grade School (logging camp schools). She then attended Glenwood City High School, graduating in 1951. She met Duane in high school and they were married on May 17, 1952 in Glenwood City. To this union 4 children were born. They were blessed to share 52 years of marriage together. After marriage they lived on the Robert Luepke Sr. farm near Glenwood City, WI, for a year, then moved to Minneapolis. In 1958 they moved to Brooklyn Park, MN, where she worked for the Golden Valley Health Care Center as a Receptionist/Office Manager and Counselor for 10 years. They moved to Cumberland, WI in 1992 and then up to the Pequot Lakes area in 2000. Phyllis is survived by her husband, Duane; children, Steven (Patricia) Moe of St. Michael, MN, Debra (Nett) Olstad of Pequot Lakes, MN, Jodi (Lisa) Moe of Charlotte, NC, Kerry (Rocky Lassard) Moe of Pequot Lakes, MN, 7 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandson, and her close friend Colleen Holmberg. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Katherine Schulz; brothers, Norbert, Everett, Faye and Roger Krueger. She will be dearly missed by her family and all of the special friends she had contact with over the years. We were all greatly blessed in knowing her. Memorial services will be 11 AM, Saturday October 2, 2004 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Glenwood City, Wisconsin with Pastor Ralph Thompson officiating. Burial will follow services at Glenwood City Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.
