Phebe Jorgensen

Phoebe June Jorgensen, 75, of Mesa, AZ, formerly of Crystal, MN, passed away Sunday, July 4, 2010 at Banner Gardens Hospice House in Mesa. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN.

Phoebe was born June 5, 1935 in Duquette, MN, the daughter of Benjamin and Phoebe Jeanette (Welch) Rowe. She was united in marriage to Richard "Dick" Jorgensen in 1953. The couple made their home in Crystal, MN. Phoebe worked for Avon for more than 20 years as an administrative assistant and a group leader. After Dick passed away in 1994, Phoebe began spending half the year in Arizona and half in Minnesota. She and her husband, Allen Beiling lived in Mesa for many years. Phoebe liked to play cards, dance and be a social butterfly.

She will be missed by her husband, Allen; her children, Richard (Diane) Jorgensen, of Zimmerman, Julie Ann Jorgensen, of Tacoma, WA, and Joanne (Todd) Hogan, of Big Lake; two grandchildren, Brandon and Jordan; and her sister, Shirley Hoskins, of Brooklyn Center. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dick; her brothers, LeRoy, Richard, Earl, Bud, and Red; and her sisters, Lorayne, Mary, Gladys, and Edith. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel of Baxter.
