Peter Mikulski

Peter Mikulski, age 92, of Staples, MN, died Sunday evening, April 15, 2001, at the Greater Staples Care Center. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 18th, at 11:00 AM, in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, in Staples, with Father Lauren Germann officiaiting. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Hill Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday evening, from 5 to 8 PM, with the Rosary at 7:30. Arrangements are with the Brenny Funeral Home in Staples.
Peter Mikulski was born on June 30, 1908, in Staples, MN, to Stanislaus and Frances (Jarosch) Mikulski. He grew up and attended school in Staples. For a short time Peter served in the US Army Signal Corps. Throughout the years he worked for Severson Produce, the Lambert Lumber Company, and painted with Skinny Nurnberger for many years. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the American Legion.

Peter is survived his nephew, Lester (Carla) Knoke of Burnsville, MN; other nieces and nephews, as well as cousins from around the area. He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, John, Joe, and Frank; and a sister, Mary.
