Pauline Tranby

Pauline Tranby, age 96, of Pine River, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2013, at Good Samaritan Society Bethany, Brainerd.

Orphie Pauline Tranby was born to Oscar and Agnes Amoth on November 18, 1916, in Jamestown, ND. She was an active member of First Lutheran Church in Pine River, and enjoyed crocheting, quilting and singing in the choir.

Pauline is survived by her sons: Ray (Carol), Howard (Patti), Marvin (Kay); sister, Alpha Klotz; 10 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by sons, Dave and Harvey; sister, Olive Salthe; grandson, Greg Tranby; and great granddaughter, Tanya Tranby.

Services will be 11 AM on Wednesday, April 3, at First Lutheran Church, Pine River, with Pastor Bonnie Lomen officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Saron Lutheran Cemetery, Erskine, MN.
