Pauline Weishalla Page, 99, of Staples passed away peacefully Monday, November 23, 2020 at Lakewood Care Center. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 11:00 AM Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with visitation 1 hour prior to services. Interment will be at Evergreen Hill Cemetery.
Pauline was born to Robert and Julia (Rawers) Weishalla on November 08, 1921. She married George Allyn Page on November 03, 1941. In 1949 Pauline and George moved to Warroad to open a restaurant. When George passed in 1963, Pauline stayed on to operate the restaurant. She owned and operated the restaurant for over 35 years, until the 1980’s when she moved back to the Staples area. Pauline loved to cook, and enjoyed time with her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children Diane (Walter) Hreno, and George Page; Grandchildren Debbie (John) Hanson, David (Kristin) Hreno, Patti (John) Farmakes; great grandchildren Jack, Luke, Madison, Carter, David, and Kyle; sister-in-law Mabel Page; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her Husband George Page; brothers Robert, John and Leo Weishalla; sisters Anna, Gertrude, Barbara, Edith, Lillian, Leona, and Lucille.
In lieu of flowers, memorials should be sent to either Sacred Heart Catholic Church or Lakewood Care Center
