Paula LaMont

Paula LaMont, 48, of Brainerd, died Saturday, February 7, 2004 in Baxter. Paula was born February 23, 1955 to Jack and Deloris (Paulsen) LaMont in Lynwood, CA. Paula attended school in Mount Lake and graduated high school in 1976. She worked for Brainerd Vocational School, and later Central Lakes College, in the Records and Registration Department, until her death. She was a member of the Eagle?s Club. Paula enjoyed playing pool and watching the Minnesota Vikings. Paula truly enjoyed life. Paula is survived by her mother, Deloris Rickert, of Mount Lake; sister, Michelle (Charles Yeary Jr.) Travis, of Eau Claire, WI; brother, Kirk (Lisa) Rickert, of Prior Lake; nephews, Joel, Paul, Brandon, Travis; and niece, Sydney. Her father, Jack LaMont; and her step-father, Carl Rickert preceded her in death. Services will be 11 AM Thursday, February 12, at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, with Reverend Dan Dougherty officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. There will also be a service 1:30 PM Saturday, February 14, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mount Lake, with a visitation starting at 12 PM. Arrangements entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel of Baxter.
