Paul T. Schleicher, 87, of Pillager, MN died on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Essentia Health/St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd, MN. Funeral Services for Paul will be held on Monday, January 19, 2015 at 11:00AM at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN with visitation one hour prior to services. A dinner will be held at the Brenny Funeral Chapel Reception Room following services at the chapel. Interment will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls, MN at 9:00AM.

Paul was born to the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Schleicher on October 4, 1927 in Minneapolis, MN. He entered the United States Army and following his honorable discharge, Paul drove truck for many years in the cities before moving to the Brainerd Lakes Area in Sylvan Township. Paul was united into marriage to Josephine Erickson on July 14, 1990 in Brainerd, MN. He installed septic systems, well drilling, and was an excellent handiman. Paul enjoyed traveling, reading, and working. He especially loved spending time with his family.

Paul is survived by his wife, Josephine; sons, Steven Schleicher of Minneapolis, MN and Terry (Susan) Schleicher of Hillman, MN; step-son, Gary (Claire) Erickson of Chisago City, MN; step-daughter, Faye (Walter) Spilman of Hammond, WI; brothers, George, David, and Phil Schleicher; sisters, Mary Sleeva, Caroline Sleeva, and Naomi Thone; five grandchildren, Tiffany, Ashley, Nathan, Adam, and Adrienne; and one great-grandchild, Austin. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Dennis; one grandson; and sisters, Esther and Ruth. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN.
