Paul Binek

Paul R. Binek, age 85, of Verndale, formerly of Waterloo Iowa, passed away at the Lakewood Care Center on Sunday, January 13, 2013. Private family services will be held at a later date.

Paul Roscoe Binek was born on September 16, 1927, to Peter and Irene (Canty) Binek, in Osage, IA. He graduated from West High school in Waterloo, IA, and then he attended college for 3 year and later became an accountant. On September 11, 1949 he married Dorothy Hauser in Ottumwa, Iowa, together they lived in Waterloo, Iowa and later moved to Louisiana and Arkansas before returning back to Waterloo, IA in 1994. In 2011 he moved to Verndale, MN to spend more time with his son, Paul.

Paul is survived by his 3 children, Nancy Binek of Eureka Springs, AR., Paul J. (Charlene) Binek of Verndale, MN., and Richard (Lori) Binek of Volcano, HI.; 6 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Peter and Irene; wife Dorthy; 3 sisters; and 1 brother.
