Patsy Louise Finney, age 76, of Walker, was born on October 13, 1939, in San Fernando, CA, to Thurman and Marion (Logan) Porter and died on February 22, 2016. She graduated from high school in Myrtle Creek, Oregon, and from Dental Assisting School in North Hollywood, CA. She married Donald L. McAllister in 1958 and Jack Finney in 1990.
Pat loved to quilt and use her embroidery system on her machine to make things for family and friends. She also loved her outside flowers, loved to travel and had been in all 50 states. She worked various jobs including the dental office and grocery store and she also ran her own daycare. Pat served on the Walker City Council, which she enjoyed very much. She belonged to American Legion #134 Auxiliary, serving as president one year, and also belonged to Community Church of Walker, serving on their council several years with various jobs. She started the second Red Hat group in Walker and was their queen of the Sassy, Classy Ladies of Walker. Most of all she loved her family and enjoyed when they all got together for fun or work.
Pat is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Donald; and second husband, Jack. She is survived by two daughters, Scarlett (Tim) Feiler of Royalton and Derotha (Tim) Blaeser of West St. Paul; son, Jeffery (Cheryl) McAllister of Walker; sister, Linda (Lee) Broyles of Wyoming; grandchildren: Donald and Shelby Feiler, Sean and Kali Blaeser and Amanda and Amber McAllister; niece, Kenna (Domenic) Rubinato of California; and nephew, Troy Richardson of Wyoming.
A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, Feb 26, at Community Church of Walker with burial in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Pine River, at a later date. Friends and family may gather one hour prior to the service at the church.
