Patrick Borman

Patrick A. Borman, Age 63, of Backus, MN passed away Saturday, December 1, 2012 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Brainerd. Patrick was born June 24, 1949 the son of Alan and Mary Ann (Foss) Borman. He grew up in Backus and graduated from the Backus High School. Patrick married Patty Blanchard on August 26, 1985 at Sisseton, SD. They lived their entire married life in Backus. Patrick worked many years at Ah-Gwah-Ching in Walker and for many years as a dispatcher at the Pine River-Backus School District bus garage.

Patrick enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. He was a member of the Backus Fire Department for 32 years and was a member of the Backus First Responders since its beginning.

Patrick is survived by his son, Ross (Alicia) Borman; grandson, Bryce Borman; mother, Mary Ann Borman; brothers, Walter (Eva) Foss, Miles (Mary) Borman, Joey (Carrie) Borman, Barry (Jill) Borman, Peter Borman; sister, Lavonne (Rick) Pederson and by many nieces, nephews and numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alan Borman; wife, Patty Borman; brothers, Rodney and Michael Ray; sister, Linda; aunt, Sue Bailey Anderson and his maternal grandparents, Ole and Nellie Foss.

Funeral sevices will be 10 A.M. Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Backus. Visitation will be on Tuesday evening from 5 to 7 P.M. at the church in Backus.
