Patricia Stock

Patricia Fortuna Stock, 82, Baxter, formerly of St. Paul, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016, at Bethany Good Samaritan Village in Brainerd. Service will be Monday, 1/2/17, 1 PM, at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Visitation will be Sunday, January 1, from 5-7 PM at Brenny Funeral Chapel, and for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be 4 PM Thursday, January 5, at Baxter City Cemetery.

Patricia was born October 8, 1934 in St. Paul, to Omer and Mildred (Roubal) Fortuna. She was raised and educated in St. Paul, graduating from Washington High School with the class of 1952. She was united in marriage to Charles I. Stock on July 10, 1954, in St. Paul. The family lived in St. Paul and, later, in LaPorte and Milaca. They moved to St. Cloud, where Patricia worked as a customer service representative for Fingerhut for ten years. Charles and Patricia moved to Pillager in 2004. Charles passed away on August 27, 2011. Patricia moved to Baxter in 2012. Patricia loved studying the Word of God, particularly from the King James Version. She enjoyed watching birds, flowers, shopping, and she appreciated all things beautiful. Family was important to Patricia, and she very much enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Patricia will be remembered and missed by her children, Chuck Stock, Jr., of St. Cloud, Michael Stock, of Ely, Anita (Greg) Patnoe, of Nisswa, Mary Meeks, of Baxter, Thomas Stock, of St. Cloud, Theresa (Jerry) Rusnak, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Monica (Mark) Hardesty, of Frisco, Texas, Leonard Stock, of Baxter, and Susan (Mike) McFarland, of North Port, Florida; 17 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; her parents, Omer and Mildred Fortuna; three sisters, Jacqueline Fortuna, Annette Fortuna, and Mary Jean Donahue; two brothers, Tom Fortuna and John Fortuna; and a son-in-law, Ronald Meeks.
