Patricia O'Bryan

Patricia O’Bryan, 63, of Fifty Lakes, MN passed away in her home after a year long battle with cancer on Tuesday, July 25, 2017. A Memorial Service for Patty is planned for Monday, July 31, 2017 at 12:30PM at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Crosslake, MN with visitation beginning one hour prior to services at the chapel.

Patricia was born on September 27, 1953 in St. Louis Park, MN to Raymond and Beverly (Harvey) Garvey. She graduated from St. Louis Park High School. Patty married Steven O’Bryan in 1974 in St. Louis Park. She worked in the food service industry for the St. Louis Park School District before retiring and moving to Fifity Lakes. Patty enjoyed fishing, crocheting, and playing bingo. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Patty is survived by her daughters, Sheila Cartney (Mike Sellman) and Dawn (Eric) Smith; grandson, Aidan Cartney; sisters, Cathy Wilke, Susan Dreis, and Jeanette Prader; brother, Ray Garvey; and brother-in-laws, Vernon O’Bryan, Bruce O’Bryan, and Sean O’Bryan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Beverly; and husband, Steven. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Crosslake, MN.
