Patricia Linke

Patricia "Pat" A. Linke, 80, of Merrifield, MN died at Essentia Health/St. Joseph's Medical Center on Saturday, July 4, 2015. A Mass of Christian Burial for Pat will be held on Friday, July 10, 2015 at 1:00PM at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN with Father Tony Wroblewski officiating with visitation one hour prior to services at the chapel. A luncheon will follow services at the Brenny Funeral Chapel Reception Room. Interment will be Monday, July 13, 2015 at 11:00AM at Resurrection Cemetery in St. Paul, MN.

Pat was born on April 5, 1935 in St. Paul, MN to Albert and Mary Hazel (Huddleston) Petrasek. She grew up on West 7th Street Area and graduated from Monroe High School. Pat was united into marriage to Jerry Linke on May 26, 1956 at St. Stanislaus Church in St. Paul, MN. She lived most of her life in Highland Park Area. Pat spent her summers at Sunset Bay Resort for many years. She and Jerry moved to Merrifield in 2000. Pat enjoyed dancing and music. Her greatest joy was her children and grandchildren.

Pat is survived by her husband, Jerry of Merrifield, MN; children, Bob (Julie) Linke of St. Paul, MN and Chris Compton of Merrifield, MN; grandchildren, Jeremy Compton (Trina McFatridge), Scott Compton, Michael Compton, Ben Linke, and Sara Linke; and great-grandchildren, Sequoia and Shea Compton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Hazel; sons, Eugene and Michael Linke; and son-in-law, Loren Compton. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN.
