Patricia J. Kelley

Patricia Jane (Cox) Kelley, 87, left her home at Edgewood Vista to be with the Lord on September 18, 2023. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday September 22, 2023 at 11:00am at Lakewood Evangelical Free Church in Baxter. There will be a visitation held one hour prior to the start of the service at the church. Lunch will follow the service.

Pat was born to John and Irene Cox on March 19, 1936 in Potosi, Wisconsin. Pat relocated to Colorado to be with her sister Deloris. While there, she met Wayne Kelley and married him on March 22, 1958. They were married for 61 years until his passing in 2019.

Pat worked at the Steel Mill in Pueblo, CO before moving to Fort Ripley, MN in 1974 where they raised their four children on the family farm. Aside of farming, Pat also worked as a CNA at Woodland and Good Neighbor for many years.

Pat really enjoyed gardening, canning and cooking; her talent was sewing anything from drapes to clothes; but she truly loved spending time with all her children and grandchildren.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Wayne, sisters Deloris Ford (Ralph) and Joyce Marhr.

Pat is survived by children John of Fort Ripley, David (Brenda) of Belle Plaine, Bill of Bloomington, Judy (Rick) Osbakken of East Gull Lake, grandchildren Courtney (Jesse) Hendrickson, Nick Osbakken, Tricia Osbakken, Tony Kelley, Katlyn (Noah) Kelley, Gerald Bollig, Aaron Bollig, Kayla Bollig, great-grandchildren Gabrielle Stevens, Landon Bollig and Carolyn Hendrickson, brother Richard Cox (Sally), and brother in-law Bob Marhr.

Arrangements are entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.
