Patricia Johnson

Patricia Ann Johnson, 76, of Onamia, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Lakeside Assisted Living in Onamia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, August 4 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Motley. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to Mass. Interment will take place at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, August 4 at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Wahkon, MN.

Patricia was born July 19, 1942, in Brainerd, the daughter of Roy and DeLores (Brown) Larson. She was raised and educated in Motley and graduated from Motley High School before continuing her education and becoming a licensed cosmetologist. During the 1970s, she owned and operated Patsy’s Magic Mirror in Isle. Later, she shared her talents by teaching at Lakes and Pines Vocational School, Maxim’s, and St. Cloud Beauty School. Patricia loved music and was a gifted singer and songwriter which led her to enjoy her time as a radio announcer at WJJY. She also organized talent shows and beauty contests. She was an avid collector of rocks, Native American art, and loved to fish.

She is survived by her children, Anthony (LeeAnn Mundell) Larson, of Pahrump, NV, Jamie (Bryan) Williams, of St. Paul, Joseph Schweich, of Isle, and Russel Schweich, of Isle; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and siblings, Beverly Zabrowski, of Hopkins, Sandy (Gary) Winkle, of Ham Lake, Daryl Larson, of Motley, and Dee Larson, of Motley, Beverly Hahn, Barbara Dahl, Bonnie (Wayne) Witkop and Jerry Pribbenow. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Mark; and siblings, Ronald Larson, Sharon Huffman, and Barb Cline.
