Patricia Finney

Patricia (Patty) Marie Finney, 51, of Livonia Michigan, died on July 14, 2014. Patty was born in Park Rapids, MN, on September 10, 1962 and grew up in Walker. She graduated from Walker-Hackensack High School in 1982.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ewald and Carrie Nagel, Reginald Finney, William and Sarah (Sally) McLean; father, Harland (Jack) Hall Finney.

Survived by mother and stepfather, Sandra and Ernie Richardson; stepmother, Pat Finney; sisters, Janell and Brad Koering, Debby and Brent Yates, and Lila and Derek Rutten; several nieces and nephews; and her life-long companion and best friend, Patrick Dwyer.

Patty was an optimistic and generous person who gracefully reminded those around her to embrace the gifts they have been given. She was a poet and an artist, a loving sister, a devoted daughter, a loyal friend, and an adoring companion.

The family wishes to thank the Dwyer Family of Livonia Michigan for all the years of love, kindness, and family that they extended to Patty.

Services will be 2 PM on Saturday, July 26, at Union Congregational Church in Hackensack. Dessert and coffee will be provided after the service to be followed by a burial at Pine Ridge Cemetery, Pine River.
