Patricia Esler

Patricia Anne Esler, age 50, of Staples, died Monday evening in Garrison. Funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon at 2:00 in the Brenny Funeral Home Chapel in Staples with Reverend Les Crider officiating. Relatives will receive friends on Friday after 11:00. Burial will be in the Poplar Cemetery near Leader. Services have been entrusted to the Brenny funeral Home in Staples.

Patricia Anne Esler was born on November 3rd, 1954 in Brainerd to Bernard and Mynerva (Bourquine) Borg. She grew up in Brainerd and attended the local schools. On December 6th, 1980 she married Charles D. Esler and together they farmed in the Leader area. In 2000 they moved to Staples where Patricia enjoyed selling Avon in the area. Patricia loved music, enjoyed dancing, and got a lot of pleasure from helping others.

She is survived by her husband; Charles D. Esler, a daughter; Mardella Krapp of Garrison, 4 brothers; Dave (Gayle) Borg of Brainerd, William (Debbie) Borg of Brainerd, John Borg of Brainerd, and Jeff Borg of Pillager, 3 sisters; Caroline Borg of Staples, Kathleen Kounkel of Little Falls, and Annette (Dave) Stelter of Pillager, as well as 4 Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother; Richard, and a sister; Diane.
