Patricia Case

Patricia Anne Case, 87, of Staples passed away on December 26th at Trinity Care Center in Farmington, MN. Services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Staples on January 7th at 12:00 noon. Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Church 1 hour prior to the service.

Patricia Anne Case was born in Moorhead, MN on December 24, 1929, to Norbert and Doris (Bailey) Jay and grew up in Dilworth and Staples. On June 25, 1949, Patricia married Robert Case and they made their home in Staples where they raised their 5 children. Pat worked as a switchboard operator, a clerk at Batcher’s Department Store, DJ Draperies, and at the Ringer Plant until it closed. She loved to sew, knit, garden and cook. She later took up quilting and made many beautiful quilts for her family. She was an avid reader, loved to fish and do crossword puzzles.
