Pastor Korman

Pastor Marlys Korman, age 76, of Outing, MN, and formerly Robbinsdale and Brooklyn Center, passed away Friday, January 25, 2013. She was born to Roy and Linda Dowden on October 3, 1936, in Minneapolis. Marlys married Bill Korman on September 10, 1955. She served as Pastor of Faith Lutheran Church, Swanburg, for many years.

Marlys is survived by her husband of 57 years, Bill; children: Kent Korman (Carla); Kim O'Shaughnessy (Kevin); grandchildren: Tyler and Lindsey O'Shaughnessy, and Andy Korman.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorials may be given to Faith Lutheran Church, Swanburg.

Services will be 11 AM on Thursday, January 31, at the Crosslake Lutheran Church, Crosslake, MN. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 7 PM at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River, and one hour prior to services at the church. There will also be a service held at 1 PM on Friday, February 1, at Glen Haven Cemetery Chapel, Crystal, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
