Pamela S. Christensen, 60 of Baxter was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, November 16, 2011, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services for Pam will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at 11:00 AM at St. Francis Catholic Church in Brainerd with Father Tony Wroblewski officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, November 21, 2011 from 4:00-7:00 PM at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter with a prayer service at 6:45 PM.

Pam's courageous battle with kidney cancer was always handled with faith and grace. She was born on September 8, 1951 in Brainerd, MN to Stanley and Patricia (Jaglo) Harris. She married the love of her life, Larry, on March 21, 1970. Their blessings in life are their two children, Brett (Colleen) Christensen of Brainerd and Macie (Len) Rudolph of Baxter, and her two cherished granddaughters, Jordan Rose and Molly Grace Rudolph.

Pam worked at Lowell Elementary School for nearly 30 years. She will be fondly remembered by staff and students for her dedication. Pam was a giving, loving, kind and gentle person. She touched countless lives and made a difference in her lifetime. She loved to spend summers at their seasonal home in Garrison with family and friends. She treasured spending time with her granddaughters, traveling, dancing with Larry, playing cards and hosting many get togethers with family and friends.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents, parents-in-laws, maternal and paternal grandparents, brother, and other special family members. She is survived by her husband of 41 years; her son; her daughter; her two granddaughters; Father Don Rogers; sisters, Shireen Harris, Joy (Larry) Schultz, and Kristi (Brett) Dutton, all of Brainerd; many nieces and nephews and cherished family and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services.
