OraLee Demo

OraLee Ida Demo, 75, of Baxter, MN died on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at her home. A Mass of Christian Burial for OraLee will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 1:00PM at St. Francis Catholic Church in Brainerd, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church. Interment in Wildwood Cemetery.

OraLee was born on February 7, 1940 in Cincinnati, Ohio to LaVern and Thelma (Beaird) St. George. The family then moved to the cabin in Park Rapids, MN. OraLee grew up in St. Paul after her family moved there. She sang at the Cathedral and graduated from Catherdal High School in St. Paul, MN. OraLee married Roger Demo Sr. on August 2, 1958 in St. Paul, MN. OraLee and Roger lived in Richfield, south Minneapolis, and North Branch, before moving to Brainerd, MN in the 1980's. She loved to cook and garden. OraLee also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and animals especially her poodles. She loved to collect trinkets.

OraLee is survived by her four children, LeeOra (Raymond) Scott of Baxter, MN, Roger G. (Danna) Demo of St. Francis, MN, Joseph W. Demo of Isanti, MN, and Matthew Demo of Baxter, MN; eight grandchildren, Diane (Jon) Moorman, Gregory, Eric, Steven Bajari, Jennifer (Daniel) Hatley, Jered (Maria) Demo, Kimberly Demo, and Michael Bixby; nine great-grandchildren, Victoria, Natalia, Atlas, Alexander Hatley, Madelyn and Mason Moorman, Ethan and Logan Bajari, and Natalie Demo; and siblings, Arlene Habisch of Cincinnati, OH, Donald St. George of Chicago, IL, and Dennis St. George of Bemidji, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roger in 2012; brother, Harland St. George; sister, Ruth Horrigan. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN.
