Odin Sagberg

Odin G. Sagberg, 87, of Brainerd, passed away July 27, 2010 at his home. Services for Odin will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, August 5, 2010 at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Friends are welcome to gather one hour prior to services and stay for a reception following services at Brenny's Reception Room.

Odin was born February 18, 1923, in Minneapolis, the son of Oscar and Gertrude (Anderson) Sagberg. He was united in marriage to Florence Antoinette Carlson. Odin was a veteran of the US Navy and served his country in WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the VFW, Brainerd Post # 1647. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Odin will always be remembered as sharp, meticulous and going by the facts.

He will be missed by his sister, Hjordis Butler; nephew, Daniel Butler; niece, Beverly (Del) Greisert; grandnephews, Dan and Tony; and step-son, Clarence Leo Roehl and their families. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel of Baxter.
