Norman Risland

Norman "Risty" Risland, age 50, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2011, at the VA Hospital in St. Cloud. He was born October 2, 1960, in Robbinsdale, MN. Risty served in the US Army and worked as a contractor in Alaska. He enjoyed camping and spending time in the outdoors.

Risty is survived by his parents, Norman and Rayetta Risland; children: Aaron Jensen and Rayna Johnson (Jacob); grandson, Jobe; brothers, Greg, Russell, and Jason; sisters Lina Conradson and Audrey Trutwin; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Eric and Frank, and companion, Donnah.

Services will be 1 PM on Monday, February 7, at Pleasant Hill Community Church, rural Pequot Lakes. Visitation will be one half hour prior to the service.
