Norma Wilson

Norma A. Wilson, 82, of Brainerd, formerly of Big Lake, died peacefully Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Edgewood Vista, in Brainerd, MN. Services for Norma will be held at 7:00 PM, Monday, October 22, 2012 at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Family and friends are invited to gather starting at 5:00 PM. There will be a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 25, 2012 at Hope Evangelical Free Church (513 West 4th Street) in Monticello. Interment will take place at 3:00 PM on Thursday at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery near Little Falls.

Norma was born January 7, 1930, in Duluth, MN, the daughter of Harold K. and Bernice (Abernathy) Pederson. She liked baking and sewing. Norma loved her large family and friends and took pride in making numerous quilts that will warm many hearts for years to come.

Norma will join in heaven her husband, Curtis; parents; her brother, Robert Pederson; and sister, Blanche Rapp. She will be missed by her children, Ronald Anderson, of Millidgeville, GA, Clifford Anderson, of St. Cloud, Lynnette (Steven) Shamp, of Pillager, Douglas Anderson, of St. Cloud, Nancy (Joe) Gapen, of Monticello, Juanita (Lewis) Russell, of Pillager, Roger Wilson, of Minneapolis, Richard (Linda) Wilson, of Brainerd; step-daugther, Pauline (Eldon) Wire, of Thayer, KS; sisters, Virginia Stephenson, Lucille (Robert) Henderson, and Luella Boseovski; brothers, Walter (Katherine) Pederson and Paul (Sandy) Pederson; 45 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
