Norma Carter

Norma Belle Carter, 86, of Baxter, MN died Wednesday, August 11, 2021 in her home.

Norma was born October 12, 1934 in LaSalle, Illinois to Ethel and Julius Kellams. She graduated from High School in Earlville, Illinois. September 1953 Norma married Edger Carter and they lived in Earlville, Illinois.

Norma worked at Marathon in Earlville for most of her working career until they closed and then worked at Biltrite in Leland, Illinois until she retired.

Ed and Norma retired to their lake home in Baxter, Minnesota on White Sand Lake. Norma enjoyed nature and all its wonders.

Norma is preceded in death by her husband Edgar, both parents, and two sisters Ruth Kallams and Dora Curtis.

Survived by her son Jay (Rita) Carter, Grandchildren; Ross Carter and Rebecca Carter (Marcus Cadena).
