Norbert Duscher

Norbert Frank Duscher, 77, of Breezy Point, passed away March 31, 2018. Services for Norbert will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, April 6, 2018 at Brenny Funeral Chapel – Pequot Lakes. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to services.

Norbert was born August 27, 1940, in Georgeville, MN, the son of Edward and Florence (Whealey) Duscher. Following his graduation from high school, Norbert enlisted and served in the US Airforce from 1959 – 1963. In 1965, Norbert was united in marriage to Jane Niemela. For 30 years, he dedicated his working career to UPS. He was a lifetime member of American Legion, Post #49. He also enjoyed splitting wood, being the “anchorman” of bowling, and playing softball, along with operating a hobby farm.

He will be missed by his wife of 53 years, Jane; children, David (Diane) Duscher, of La Vista, NE, Laura (Jim) Tucker, of Breezy Point, Richard Duscher, of Waite Park, Jonathan (Janet) Duscher, of Brighton, MO, Edward Duscher, of Brainerd, and Jennifer (David) Arms, of Baxter; grandchildren, Shawn, Joey, Luke, Sebastian, Samantha, and Austin; siblings, Pat (Linda) Duscher, of Hawick, Pete (Judith) Duscher, of AK, and Maria Duscher, of Atwater; and special family friend, Colleen Stevens. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Florence; siblings, Edward, Phillip, Robert, Timothy, and John; and his niece and nephew, Denise and Kevin Duscher.
