Natividad Hegge

Natividad (Naty) Hegge, 67, of Staples died on Friday, January 17, 2014 at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Staples, MN with Father Joe Korf officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20, 2014 from 5-7 PM at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples, MN.

Natividad (Naty) was born to Cresencia (Zamora) and Jose Mojos on October 14, 1946 in Tabaco Albay, Philippines. Naty grew up and attended school in the Philippines. She met her husband, Tim while he was stationed at Clark Air Force base and they married on October 29, 1970. In 1971, Naty and Tim made their journey to the United States. Over the years she and her family lived in many Minnesota towns including Menahga, Dilworth and most recently Staples. Naty worked as a CNA for many years until her cancer diagnosis in 2007. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, dancing, spending time with her grandchildren and talking with her many family and friends. She also had many collections from dolls to semi-precious stones.

Naty is survived by her loving husband, Tim; three children, Warren (Ann Brummer), Ana (Dean Ehrens), and Matthew (Kim); three brothers, Nelson, Jimmie and Jessie; one sister, Nilda and many grandchildren, nephews, nieces and cousins in the Philippines and here in the United States. She is preceded in death by her father, Jose; mother, Cresencia and her brother, Jauning. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples, MN.
