Nathan Dilley, age 5, of Brainerd, MN, died on Monday, July 16, 2001, as the result of a drowning accident. Father Seamus Walsh, will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial for Nathan at St. Francis Catholic Church in Brainerd, on Friday, July 20, at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Brainerd. Friends may call at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter on Thursday, July 19, from 5-8:00 PM, with parish prayers and Rosary at 7:00 PM. Friends may also visit for one hour prior to the Mass at St. Francis Catholic Church. Arrangements are with the Brenny Funeral Chapel of Baxter.
Nathan Dilley was born in Brainerd, MN on May 13, 1996, to Tom and Laura (Weiss) Dilley. He lived in Brainerd with his family. He attended school at Early Childhood Special Education, and would have gone to kindergarten this fall. He was a delightful, active little boy who enjoyed toys with lights and sounds, music, and Vegi-Tales.
Nathan is survived by his parents, Tom and Laura Dilley, of Brainerd; a sister, Hannah, age 7, at home; his grandparents, Doug and Lorraine Thomas of Crosslake, and Lyle and Verlys Dilley of Wadena; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. His grandfather, Clarence Weiss, preceded Nathan in death.
