Natalle Hetman

Tillie was born on August 7, 1928, to Herman and Renata (Manthie) Groth, in Holdingford, MN. She was baptized and confirmed Lutheran. She attended school through the 8th grade, and later received her GED. She met the love of her life, John Hetman, and the two were married on August 21, 1946. To this union one daughter, Lucille was born. They spent the next 61 years together, until John's passing in 2008. After purchasing their farm near Staples, they cut and sawed the trees for lumber to build their house. She was a homemaker and baker. She was active in the community and her church. She took sewing classes; and turned it into a business, making women's underwear. She enjoyed playing Scrabble, Bingo, and cards. She spent the last year waiting for the Lord to take her home. She went peacefully and was comforted by her family and friends.

Tillie is survived by her daughter, Lucille (Jose) Sanchez of Green Valley, AZ; 3 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, John; her parents; and siblings, Lucille, Louise, Frank, Fred, Herman, Ed, and Harry. She was loved and will be dearly missed.
