Nancy Weitzel

Nancy Weitzel, 60, of Pequot Lakes, died peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Saturday, April 6, 2013. Services will be held 3:00 PM, Thursday, April 11 at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Family and friends are welcome to gather one hour prior to services and stay for a luncheon following at the Brenny Funeral Chapel Reception Room.

Nancy was born February 2, 1953, in Manhattan Beach, the daughter of Andrew and Mable (Satchell) Goble. She was united in marriage to Larry Weitzel. The couple made their home in the Pequot Lakes Area, and Nancy worked for a number of years at APine Express. She enjoyed traveling and crocheting.

She will be missed by her children, Christina (Scott) Niedfeldt, of Pequot Lakes and David (Julie) Weitzel, of Grand Rapids; step-children, Cheryl Pitcher, Elizabeth Weitzel, and Melanie Kruchten; brothers, Lonny (Theresa) Goble, of Fort Ripley and Lennie (Marsha) Goble, of Pequot Lakes; sister, Betty (Norm) Renes, of Park Rapids; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry; parents; brother, Larry; sister Rena Brodman; and grandson Blake Pitcher.
