Nancy Olsen

Nancy Lee Olsen, age 65, of Baxter, MN, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2016, at Essentia-St. Joseph's Medical Center, Brainerd.

She was born to Clinton and Miriam (Palm) Grimm on February 11, 1951, in Mora, Minnesota. Nancy was born and raised in Mora. Nancy attended Tech. School in Alexandria, MN, earning a degree in Interior Design. She furthered her education, attending the school of Cosmetology in Minneapolis. She married Tom Olsen on April 12, 1975, in Mora, MN. Nancy was a hairstylist for many years. Her places of employment included Fantastic Sam's, Shear Perfection and Excelsior Place until retiring. After retirement she still volunteered at Excelsior Place.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Tom; sons: Christopher Olsen, Matthew Olsen; brother: Gary (Theresa) Grimm; many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Curtis and Ethel Olsen.

Services will be 1 PM on Wednesday, June15, at Christ Community Church, Nisswa, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at a later date, in Oakwood Cemetery, Mora, MN. Arrangements with Kline Funeral Home, Pine River, MN.
