Myrtle Torkelson

Myrtle L. Torkelson, age 95, of Pine River, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2011, at Good Samaritan Society, Pine River. She was born November 1, 1916, in Pine River, to Francis and Ruth Jones. She married Walt Torkelson in 1934.

Myrtle is survived by her daughter, Shirley Flategraff; sister, Doris Glover; nine grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Jerry, and two grandsons.

Services will be 1 PM on Wednesday, December 7, at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River. Burial will be in Kedron Cemetery, rural Pequot Lakes. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
