Myron Stresemann

Myron M. Stresemann, age 74, of Brainerd died Sunday, January 7, 2007 at Bethany Good Samaritan Village. Funeral services will be private, with military honors and interment at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery.
Myron Martin Stresemann was born July 19, 1932 in Glencoe, to Martin and Alpha (Mahnke) Stresemann. He graduated from high school in Glencoe. He was united in marriage to Lorraine Brinkmann October 30, 1952, in Glencoe. He served in the US Army from 1953-1955. Following his military service he worked as a machinist for the Burlington Northern Railroad for 37 years. He belonged to the American Legion, VFW, and the Moose Lodge. He enjoyed playing cards and going to the casino, and enjoyed sports, particularly the Twins and the Vikings.

Myron is survived by Lorraine, his wife of 54 years; his daughters, Jody Kane, Brainerd, and Bonnie (Charlie) Bahr, Pillager; his grandchildren, Kellie Kane, Tori Bahr, and Kacie Bahr; and his siblings, Bruce (Pat) Stresemann, Comfrey, and Brenda Stresemann, New Ulm.
