Myrna Schrupp

Myrna Amelia Schrupp passed away on October 20, 2024, in Pine River, MN.

Myrna was born on September 26, 1940, in Swanville Township, MN, to Philip and Clara (Wolters) Petersen. She married Kenneth Schrupp Jr. on October 14, 1959, in Minneapolis, MN. They shared 65 very happy years together.

Myrna was a true homemaker through and through. She was a talented cook and fed everyone that came through the door and made sure anyone who visited them felt welcome. Myrna enjoyed knitting, crocheting, macrame, gardening, canning food, singing, doing puzzles, and playing cards, bingo, and board games. She was also very handy and could fix many things on the farm. Myrna had spent over 6 years as a resident at the Good Samaritan Society in Pine River, a special thank you to the staff who took very good care of her during that time.

Myrna is survived by her husband, Ken; children, Doreen Volcke (Darin Lee), Diane Sundquist, Raymond (Wendy) Schrupp, Karl Schrupp, Carol (Mike) Sechser, Ron (Wanda) Schrupp, Nancy (Rod) Richards, and Susan Schrupp; sister, Selma Glende; 14 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Myrna was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James, George, and Otto; sister, Leona; infant sister, Carol; son-in-law, Albert Volcke; and granddaughters, Marina Schrupp and Stacy Sundquist.

Myrna was a great wife, mom, and grandma, and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Servies will be held at 11 AM on Friday, October 25, 2024, at Brenny-Kline Funeral Home, Pine River. Visitation will be held the hour prior to the service. Following the burial at Norwood Cemetery, the family would like to share an open invitation to Bites Pub and Grub for a luncheon.
