Myrle Dabill

Myrle Dabill (Cusey) age 101 of Pine River, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2023. She was born in McKinley Township on March 15, 1922. Myrle was a teacher in country schools after graduating from Pine River High School and teacher’s training. She married the love of her life, Don Dabill, on June 9, 1943. They were happily married for 65 years.  

Myrle loved to paint and taught art classes for most of her life. She was involved in her church and taught Sunday school and Bible studies. Myrle wanted everyone to know her Lord Jesus as their personal Savior. She helped Don on the dairy farm. Her passions were art, gardening and flowers.
Myrle is survived by 4 children: Linda (Walter) Jenson, Karen (Bill) Korpi, Doug (Winnie) Dabill, and Richard Dabill. She was blessed with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and even great-great grandchildren.  

Service will be at 3pm on Sunday, October 29, with visitation one hour prior, at Mildred Bible Chapel in Backus.
