Mitchel Mammenga

Mitchel ?Mitch? Mammenga, age 32, a resident of Randall, died accidentally Friday 10/28/05 near Pine City. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 AM at St James Church in Randall with Fr Leo Moenkedick officiating, burial will be in Parkertown Cemetery. The relatives will receive friends from 4 till 7 PM on Tuesday at the Randall Funeral Chapel. Parish prayers will be at 6 PM on Tuesday evening at the Randall Funeral Chapel.
Mitch Mammenga is survived by his wife, Carey; 3 daughters, Kayla, Katie and Kali; his parents, Roland ?Shag? & Mary Lou Mammenga of Randall; his paternal grandmother, Alma Mammenga of Staples; his maternal grandmother, Virginia Wippler of Little Falls.

Mitch was born on June 21, 1973 in Staples, son of Roland ?Shag? and Mary Lou (Wippler) Mammenga. He graduated from Little Falls High School in 1991 then Staples Technical College in Diesel Mechanics. He worked with his father in Mammenga Excavating. He was united in marriage to Carey Heurung on 2/15/1997 in Little Falls. He worked for Heartland Truck in Brainerd then for Tri City Paving. He was a member of St James Church in Randall and Randall Fire Department. He enjoyed playing with his daughters, four wheeling, hunting, ice fishing, camping, dancing and being a friend to everyone he knew.
