Miranda Patten

Miranda Rae (Routledge) Patten, 26, of Lakeville, MN passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, June 18, 2014. Funeral Services for Miranda will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 11:00AM at Crosslake Evangelical Free Church in Crosslake, MN. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 from 5:00-7:00PM at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Crosslake, MN and beginning at 9:30AM on Thursday before the service at the church. Interment is at Pelican Woods Cemetery in Breezy Point, MN.

Miranda was born on January 24, 1988 in Minot, ND to Steven and Jayne (Christianson) Routledge. In 2008, she graduated from Montana Wilderness School of the Bible at Augusta, MT. Miranda was active in a German Shorthaired Pointer group. Miranda married Michael Patten on February 20, 2011. She had been currently working at Rudy's Red Eye Grill in Lakeville. Miranda was a passionate young woman whose beautiful smile, fun laugh, and vivacious personality were contagious to those around her. She encouraged others with handwritten letters embellished with stickers and love. She loved animals, especially her German Shorthaired Pointer Heidi, who was her pride and joy. Over the years they enjoyed dog shows, agility training, and going to dog parks together.

Miranda will be missed by her husband, Michael Patten of Lakeville; parents, Steven and Jayne (Christianson) Routledge of Crosslake; brother, Landon Routledge of Crosslake; her dog and best friend, Heidi; grandfather, Charles Routledge of Minot, ND; grandmother, Virginia Christianson of New Rockford, ND. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ralph Christianson and Betty Routledge. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Crosslake, MN.
