Minerva Fornier

Minerva Fornier, 96, Brainerd died October 29, 2006 at Woodland Good Samaritan Village. Private family services will be at a later date.
Minerva Mardell Nelson was born May 18, 1910 in Pillager, to Frank and Nellie (Jungstrom) Nelson. She grew up and graduated from high school in Pillager. She was united in marriage to Adrian Fornier. They lived in Richfield; Minerva worked at Daytons for many years. She moved to Brainerd with her family several years ago.

Minerva is survived by her daughter, Victoria Nicholson, London; granddaughters, Deborah Bednarczyk, Nisswa, Catherine Bednarczyk, Brainerd, Andrea Austad, Brainerd, and Sarah Bednarczyk, Martinsville, IL; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and eight siblings.
