Milo A. Michealson, age 84, of Nisswa, died Tuesday, November 13, 2001 at Woodland Good Samaritan Village in Brainerd. Memorial services will be Saturday, November 17, 1:00 PM, at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Baxter, with Reverend Jennifer Wilson officiating. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Nisswa with military honors provided by the Nisswa American Legion, Post 627. Arrangements are by Brenny Funeral Chapel of Baxter.
Milo Arlington Michealson was born on July 27, 1917 in Minneapolis, to Hjalmer and Mabel (Bjorglund) Michealson. He grew up and attended school in Minneapolis. He completed a tour of duty in the Army Air Corp and was honorably discharged in 1945. He was married to Rose Zarling, and was widowed in 1961. He married Clara Mae Perry, his wife of 32 years, in 1964. They moved to the family cabin near Nisswa in 1968. Milo worked as the Police Chief in Nisswa and later as a Crow Wing County Deputy. He belonged to Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Baxter. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the American Legion in Nisswa.

Milo Michealson is survived by two daughters, LaDrene Anderson of North Branch and Kathy Anderson of North Branch; four sons, Richard Michealson of Nisswa, Ken Michealson of Muriettia, CA, Jerry Michealson of Albequerque, NM, and Robert Michealson of Harris; a sister, Gail Totall of Nisswa; 18 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, 7 step-great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two wives, Rose and Clara Mae, a daughter, Bertie Ibberson, and a brother.
