Mike Williams

Mike Robert Williams was born May 27, 1944, and passed away unexpectedly on July 4, 2023. Born in Vincennes, IN to Frank and Leonore Williams, Mike attended grade school and high school in Beech Grove, IN. He attended college at the University of Indianapolis and enlisted in the Navy as a radioman on the USS Wainwright during the Vietnam War.

Mike’s working years were spent in marketing and sales for a major company based out of Indianapolis. He moved to Hackensack, MN in 2000 and continued to work from home until he retired in 2009. 

Mike was a life member of the VFW in Forest Lake, MN and a member of American Legion Post 202 in Hackensack, MN for 21 years where he maintained social media and other “techie” things. He enjoyed many winters in Florida with family and friends and cherished the local camaraderie.

Mike was a friend to everyone he met and will be missed by all. 
Mike was survived by wife of 49 years, Donna; his two sons, Steven Williams (Rose, her two children Clara and Rex) and Robert Williams; as well as his twin brother, Mickey Williams. 

Graveside service with military honors will be held at 2 PM on Friday, July 14 at Hillcrest Cemetery, Hackensack.
