Michelle "Shelly" Carlson Robben, 40, of Staples, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2013. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, August 20, 2013, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Staples at 1:30 PM, with Father Joe Korf officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, from 5-7 PM at Brenny Funeral Home, in Staples, and one hour prior to services at Brenny Funeral Home, on Tuesday. Interment will be at Evergreen Hill Cemetery, in Staples.

Shelly was born to James and Mary (Keil) Carlson on September 1, 1972. She graduated college with a 2-year degree in Dental Assisting. She was united in marriage to Jason Robben, on July 29, 2000. Her hobbies were knitting, Relay for Life and March of Dimes. She enjoyed spending time with grandkids, loved to ride motorcycle, family time and bear camp. She was a Daddy's girl.

Shelly is survived by her husband, Jason; children, Mike, Spencer, Jay and Josh; parents, Jim and Mary; mother in-law, Gloria; sister, Dawn; 7 grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; father in-law, Ray and uncle Dale.
