Michael Shay

Michael Angelo Shay, 94, of Baxter, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2011 at his home. Graveside Services will be held for Michael at 1:00 PM, Thursday, January 27, 2011 at Oakland Cemetery in Little Falls, MN.

Michael was born December 12, 1916 in Minneapolis, the son of Frank and Neope (Nelson) Iannazzo. He was raised in St. Paul and before enlisting and serving in the US Army during WWII, he drove a street car. Following his honorable discharge, he was a truck driver until his retirement. He enjoyed traveling and spending the winters in Florida.

He will be missed by his sons, Raymond (Colleen) Langren, Dwight Langren, and Duane Langren and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ada; and son Michael.
