Michael Roehl

Michael “Mike” Roehl, 80, of Pequot Lakes, passed away on Sunday, August 08, 2021, peacefully at his home.  A gathering of family and friends will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Pequot Lakes, MN.

Mike was born on January 22, 1941, to Robert and Katherine (Cherney) Roehl in St. Paul, MN. He was married to Suzanne Miller and together they had 5 children. Then, on July 01, 1998, Mike and Debra Schultz were united in marriage in Nisswa, MN. Mike’s passions were home construction, carpentry, and building cabinets.  He could truly craft anything made of wood. Mike also loved spending time with his family, playing farkle, bowling, and reading a good book.  He was most proud of his 30 years of sobriety and his role as a volunteer firefighter with the Pequot Lakes Fire Department.  He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by Debbie, his wife of 23 years; six children; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Kathleen.
