Michael DeJesus

Michael DeJesus, 45, of Staples, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at his home in Staples. Funeral services will be on Thursday, June 6, 2013, at 5:00 PM at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples, with Pastor Steve Sveom officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the Chapel.

Michael was born to Albert Hester Jr. and Peggy (McGrath) Houle on July 12, 1967 in Robbinsdale, MN. His work started with working for the Carnival and then moved on to be a stage performer. He worked as a controller at a resort and was a bar manager in Florida before he moved to Staples in 1992 so he could be closer to his family. He enjoyed picnics and get togethers with his family which he loved very much.

He is survived by parents, Peggy Houle of Staples and Albert Hester Jr. of Minneapolis; sister, Beckie Norwood of Browerville; half sister, Babette Braziel of Minneapolis, Jackie Hester of Brainerd, Nadine Hester of Minneapolis; half brother, Albert Hester III of Crosby; stepsister, Angie DeJesus of Minneapolis; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Michael Hester, Erika DeJesus and Rachael DeJesus.
